Chrome Browser: Pop-up Blocker Settings
If pop-up windows aren’t opening for you on a given website in Google Chrome, make sure that pop-up blocker is turned on and that Powerschool is added as an allowed site, by following these steps:
- Click the Customize and control Google Chrome ellipsis, in the upper-right corner of your browser (circled in green in the image below).
- Click Settings on the menu that opens (circled in red in the image below)
- Click Privacy and security in the navigation menu on the left-hand side of the Settings window that opens
- Click Site settings, found under the Privacy and security section on the right-hand side of the window
- Click Pop-ups and redirects on the following screen
- On the following screen, make sure that the radio button next to Sites can send pop-ups and use redirects is selected (circled in green in the first image below).
- Also make sure that the domain of the website for which you are having trouble is added to the Allowed to send pop-ups and use redirects section, under Customized behaviors. The domain of a website is the text part of the website’s URL that includes all text to the left of the URL’s extension, as well as the extension.
For example, the domain of the URL https://efp224.efinanceplus.powerschool.com/Dashboard22.4/ is: efp224.efinanceplus.powerschool.com.
- If the domain does not appear in the Allowed section, click the Add button (circled in red in the first image below), enter the name of the domain into the text field of the window that opens (see the second image, below) and click the Add button.
