PowerSchool Admin: How to assign a new teacher for an existing section?

How to change a teacher for the existing section.

Make sure you are logged into your school.

  1. Click on School under Setup
  2. Select Sections link under Scheduling (scroll all the way to the bottom)
  3. Enter the Course number that needs to be assigned to the new teacher in the left navigation section to filter for your course
  4. Once you have the proper course selected, click on the Section number that needs to be updated

5. Under “Teacher – Section Lead” section, add the end date for the teacher who is not teaching this section anymore, click the Add button, select the new teacher from the Staff drop-down box, and enter his start date (next day following the end date for the previous teacher)

6. Scroll all the way to the bottom and click on Submit button
