Outlook: Junk Mail Tools
If you receive an email that you believe is junk mail, you can use the Outlook Junk Mail tool to automatically move any new mail that you receive from that sender, to the Junk email folder.
If the email is a phishing attempt (an impersonation attempt at manipulating you), you can use your Phish Alert tools, which are detailed here.
Outlook Junk Mail tool instructions:
If you are using Outlook Web Access (OWA), click on the message to highlight it, right-click on it to open the pop-up menu and choose Block>Block sender (see left image, below). Additional junk mail options can be found by clicking on the Settings (gear) icon in the upper-right corner of OWA (circled in green in the right image, below).
If you are using desktop/thick-client Outlook, click on the message to highlight it, right-click on it to open the pop-up menu and choose Junk>Block sender (circled in red in the image, below). Additional junk mail options can be found by choosing Junk E-mail Options from the menu instead (circled in green in the image, below).
